Free Shingles Vaccine

If you or someone you know is aged 65, read about this offer from Health New Zealand. They are allowing people of this age to get a free shingles vaccine. You'll be able to get vaccinated by a nurse, doctor, healthcare provider or even at some pharmacies. Two doses are required, and you need to be aged 65 for the first dose; even if you turn 66 during the six-month gap, your second dose will be free.

There are exceptions to the age condition, as some adults can still get a free vaccine with certain immunity conditions. Anyone who has had chicken pox is at risk, and according to Health New Zealand, 1 in 3 people will get shingles in their lifetime, so it is well worth looking at.
